Wittgensteins Tractatus has generated many interpretations since itspublication in 1921 but over the years a consensus has developed concerningits criticisms of Russells philosophy. In Wittgensteins Apprenticeship withRussell Gregory Landini draws extensively from his work on Russellsunpublished manuscripts to show that the consensus characterizes Russell withpositions he did not hold.
